About Cleaning Bench

Cleaning Bench publishes a weekly newsletter, a local supplier & software directory, practical how-to guides, and free pricing tools: all written for the people who run the business, not for homeowners. Our whole job is to make the business side of the trade a little easier.

Who makes it

Cleaning Bench is produced by the editorial team at SuiteThink Inc. (Halifax, NS, Canada) as part of TradeBench. We're a small, independent publisher (not owned by a manufacturer, distributor, or software vendor), which is what lets us call things as we see them.

How we research

Guides are built from primary sources (manufacturer documentation, standards and code bodies, published pricing, and operators in the field), and we cite them. We don't invent statistics or citations. When we get something wrong, we fix it and note the correction; email us and we'll sort it quickly.

Editorial independence

The newsletter, guides, and a free directory listing are free forever. We make money from clearly-labelled sponsorships, featured listings, and affiliate links. Directory rankings are never for sale: a featured listing is labelled, not ranked higher; organic order is by location and relevance; and sponsored links are disclosed. Advertising never buys favorable coverage.
